I sooo wanted to start this new post
with this sanaki rendition of mine .....FOR TWO REASONS....
FIRST,
bcoz I am no less maniac then KHUSHI when it comes to ARSHI *do u need more
proofs...*and SECOND, bcoz... writing my
own cranky modulations of songs on ARSHI-ISM is as much of MY THING as madness
is of khushi...
And going
by my latest habit of “2-REASONS
SYNDROME” and oldest habit of explaining “IN DETAIL”...let me share my yet again...TWO reasons for choosing this particular frenetic song ...
FIRST... this scene soooo much
belonged to khushi..and if she is being discussed then SANAK IS THE MOST MANDATORY INGREDIENT required...and 'crazy' is what
defines this song...
SECOND... because going by the current
trends of seeking inspirations and giving tributes....the best choice now-a-days
seems to be Mr. Milkha Singh...and this song is all abt running..isnt so??? *sheepish--literally

Speaking
of Mr. Milkha Singh...our khushi had quite a resemblances to the man..yeahhh
believe me she did...let me give u two explanations for the same...*kaha
na..”2-reasons syndrome”*
FIRST,...he is known to have lived
life at his own terms and soo did our heroine...
SECOND,...If he was THE FLYING SIKH of country then in this
particular scene KHUSHI
WAS THE FLYING MILKHA OF ARSHILAND..ofcourse in her own unique
style .
Just
imagine what if the fastest sprinter of India would have watched her run like
the way she did then what would have been his reaction....believe me..he too
would have uttered in ASR style....”UNBELIEVABLE”.
Ufff
coming back to the topic long-lost...

I love u soo much....adore u soo much and most
of all...RESPECT U SOOO MUCH MORE....Only
u could have done all the things u did during the course of your love story...
All those
audiences...who believed that all of the Khushi’s previous 'encounters' in this newly started story...those
“AFFAIRS WITH STRESS BUSTER JALEBIS”,,,,,those ”STINTS WITH MILK WALA-SCOOTER”
and those “EPISODES OF CLUMSY RAMP WALKS” were the only things that defined her....and
she was done for few days...then this particular scene indeed made them think
otherwise...
THOSE WERE JUST THE GLIMPSES OF THE ‘REAL’
THING.THERE WAS SOO MUCH MORE TO HER....and this scene in its own
symbolic ways made many realize that....

IF I was
not having the hangover of “khushi’s Cutest Run”...then the next name in my
mind for this scene was
“THE ‘KEY’ TO DESIRES”
The scene
begins..
Once
again there is the symbolic wall of god...dividing them physically and uniting
soulfully....
Once
again there is an ‘ASR’...moving around with his characteristic callousness
..doing ALL what is required from him to do...
Once
again there is a ‘KHUSHI’...moving around with her characteristic
positivity..doing ALL with heart at source...
How
beautiful is the disparity...both locked their destinies...one in concurrence with the existence of almighty..other
in full revolution of the same...still ARZIYAAN reached god at the same
moment......
As if it
was indication of god to his own creations that.....

If
considered practically, it was no more than a daily use item..it was simply a ‘LOCK
N KEY’ but once again..creatives did their magic...once again a simple physical
object with mere existence became an item of utmost significance...
‘LOCK N KEY’ TOO BECAME A SYMBOL FOR THEIR
LOVE STORY...
AS IF ARNAV WAS THE LOCK WITH KHUSHI AS THE
KEY...
YES... LOCK WAS THE SYMBOL OF ‘ARNAV ‘
A symbol
of suppressed rage and bolted emotions...
A symbol
of unexpressed feelings and hidden desires...
A symbol
of man in prison of his past....
AND ‘KEY’ DESCRIBED ‘KHUSHI’....
A symbol
of solution and resource...
A symbol
of prize and gift...
A symbol
of freedom from strife...
And
then...in full maintenance of his persona...he dropped the key. I often
wonder..did he deliberately dropped the key????Yeahhh he did
yaar,,,First..because it justified his nature...and second because...maybe
subconsciously god made him do so

have kindaa start liking my 2-reason syndrome*
But
whatever be his reason for his action..I simply loved her equal and opposite
reaction...our always soooo ziddi ‘khushi’...

And just
as symbolically exquisite was the khushi’s statement..equally marvellous n
iconic was his response..
“PHENK DO”....
And the
best thing was the way he turned *HAYE RE ZULMI HOTWA* and the looks they
exchanged...
Their
first ‘EYE LOCK’ after the night of dori...how he upheld the same indifference
and how she displayed the scared recognition...The entire ‘first meet’ just ‘
went by’ in khushi’s mind and her face changed thousand colors in those few
seconds. Then came my most fav part...how subconsciously her hand went to her
heart...again there were two reasons for the same *HAHAHA..few people soo want
to kick my ass right now*
First one
was obvious...she was scared to face those killer ripping eyes and Second
bcoz...

Hehehe..and
then started the highlight part of the scene...
He
continued his sheer audacity of making us drool like crazy by just watching his
damn sexy and equally unrelenting walk...
And
she..uffff...well the background music in this part was enough to describe
whatever she was trying to do...

Hahaha..i
just loved her run yaar...bus..PERIOD.
Just few
seconds before..she was afraid to face his eyes and the next moment, she was giving
her ‘ALL’ to just stop him to confront..our khushi was just soo full of courage
n valour and most important “UNPREDICATABILITY”.
She
reached him and he advanced towards her..and we became witness of their second
‘LOVE WALK’ and phewwwwww....i am myself soo eager to write the next
ARSHIYAAN...see u soon people..
Enjoy the

whatever this thing meant
leaving this thing behind i just need 2 reasons to love your post...first the title has khushi in it and there is alot of khushi in the beginning, the song is super fun...and second well you have written it my immodest queen (and anyways i have to say this if i have to kick your ass eventually ;)
Yet again I'm left wondering if the creatives would so symbolically imagined the scene as you interpreted, your words give so much more meaning to a girl picking up a key and then realizing this belong to that rude asshole and then runs an amazing run to tell he just cannot run away from her.
Never before has a lock and key felt so soulful and romantic.
But then again never before was the lock closed for years and filled with darkness shown the key to the brightness and beauty of life that he had no option but to open.
THE KEY TO DESIRE was an amazing title to but maybe there was time for that there was a long journey they had to cover(mostly by running)before those desires could be realized and the key would fill the lock, till then they had to do a lot of running ;)
I liked the Tum Jahan Khatam Hote Ho vali shayari the best...good job there.
Coming to the scene, every moment, every actin of theirs just depicts there characters so clearly and the same we see here in the way they put that lock , they way they walk out of that place, the importance they place in that key to their desires, to him even his own are not important and for her even some unknown persons desire is so important...
The moment he said 'phek do' is one of my favorite in this scene, its got so much of that I AM ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA attitude, then of course starts the run of Milkha Singh of Arshiland, Khushi indeed is amazing in this part but the background music has a very important part to play as well, the music sets the pace and mood for the scene so well...and she is standing with her hands on her heart facing the man...i don't think in any other scene in the entire series did Khushi's hair look so messed up and all over her face...coming back she is standing ready to tell the man he just can't walk away like that and to know how they exactly felt in that moment and all that it signified about their present and future relationship, I think I will have to wait for the next Arshiyaan chapter to unfold...waiting for it to come up...
p.s. I could have almost snatched that award from you but I'm a bit sleepy and tired right now...next time maybe bcz i strongly beleive i'm the queen of long directionless speeches..
